How to Plan the Nine Nights Without Nine Sarees
Nine nights do not need nine new drapes. Hang the sarees you already trust, in a run of colour from ivory to maroon, and repeat them with a different blouse.

The rail in the atelier is not a rule that you must own every colour. It is a way to see the season at once. Ivory, marigold, green, blue, rani, maroon. From that run, most people need four sarees, worn twice, with the blouse changed.
Repeat on purpose
Night one and night six can be the same green if the blouse and the jewellery change. A gold border reads differently under daylight puja and under garba lamps. What looks repetitive in a cupboard looks considered in a week, because nobody is photographing you in a grid.
Keep one saree unworn until the eighth night, so the week still has an arrival. That is enough ceremony. You do not need a new drape for every form of the goddess.
Hang them before 11 October
Navratri 2026 begins on 11 October. This week, hang what you already own and see which borders have tired. Steam, mend a loose zari, and retire anything that snags. If a gap remains, fill one colour, not five. The three-saree edit is the shortest version of this plan. The longer version is the same idea: a short rail, chosen early, worn more than once.
